Andy H , Scotland, UKAre the 75R, 100RS and 125R a Steinheil doublet design?
Yes, all these models of telescopes have a doublet design.
Daniele , ItalyI want to purchase a PO4x24-1, but I can't find a dealer within UE from where I can buy it.
It is possible to order just 1 piece directly from this site?
Thank you for your interest in our scopes. We have a dealer within EU selling PO4x24 scopes, it is a company Waffen Schumacher located in Germany. You can see the required product at their web-site: http://waffenschumacher.com/shop_57_PSOZielfernrohre_.htm.
Marc Johnson , United StatesWould like to upgrade the 1.25" focuser on the TAL-200K to a 2" focuser, and have been warned of some issues that would bring disappointing results. Does NPZ know how to upgrade the 1.25" focuser to a 2" focuser without degrading the image or focusing function? Thank you.
AnswerDear Mr. Johnson,
Upgrade of the 1.25" focuser to 2" one can only lead to decrease of moving range of the focusing tube, but not to degrading the image. Such modernization is carried out by some astronomy amateurs without image worsening whereas we do not practice this at our enterprise.
Dan , AustraliaIn a follow up question I poster earlier about using the tal250k focal reducer with a modified tal200k (upgraded with a 2" focuser), is it possible to use other focal reducers, such as Meade f/6.3? What would the result be when imaging with a dslr?
We can confirm that it is possible to use other focal reducers with TAL200K, but we should warn you that the quality of images, taken with the help of such reducers, will be worse. The point is in the fact that our reducers compensate astigmatism whereas the others compensate coma.
Nick , UKhas a price been set for the TAL-150APO yet? if so, i would love to know the cost and if it has entered production yet.

Nick , UKWoe in the UK! :(
TALs UK distributor has already run out of barlows, they state that they do not know when a new shipment is coming in. It is being claimed that this issue is not born of the distributor but of the company itself.
Is it possible that you can shed some light on this matter? Are you able to state a date of equipment re-supply?
At the moment a new shipment of telescopes and accessories to them (including Barlow lenses) is at the British customs. We hope that in the nearest future the goods will be available at the market on sale.

We are glad that you like our web-site design, we will try to make it better. As to the prices, we do not plan to publish prices at the web-site due to the fact that we sell our products to companies (not individuals), and price per unit can vary greatly depending on quantity, destination country, currency exchange and other factors.
