C Berg , USAI have a PSO-1M2 scope with the military 1,7m range finder. I am having trouble understanding how to properly use the elevation settings on the top ranging knob. Do you have a manual, in any language, that explains how to use the scope?
I am using the scope on an Izhmash Tigr with a 530mm barrel in 7.62x54R. I have gotten conflicting information from different web sites and would like to know the real answer from the experts. Thank you for your time.
PSO-1M2 is a military sight and not exported to individuals. We produce its civic analog PO4x24 with similar specifications. We will send you user's manual for PO4x24 optical sight via e-mail and hope that it will help you to understand operation with the sight. If you have any further questions we will try to help you.
C Berg , USAIn reference to your military PSO-1M2 scope, I have seen pictures of them in light silver color and dark silver or black color. Is there a functional difference between these scopes or is it simply cosmetic? Why is there more than one color?
AnswerPSO-1M2 military optical sight has a civic analog PO4x24. The latter is made in light silver colour. PSO-1M2 is painted in black colour. Their characteristics are the same.
I have a Kashtan 1P78 scope and would like an English copy of the instruction manual for it if available.
AnswerDear Mr. Norris,
We didn't sell Kashtan scopes abroad yet so documentation in english isn't ready for it. Unfortunately we can't provide you with User's manual. If you have any questions concerning its operation and exploitation we will try to help you.
Duncan FurnessHi, I have a Kashtan 1P78 scope that seems to have a reticle that jumps when fired. Is there a way to fix this problem?
AnswerDear Mr. Furness,
How does this problem influence the accuracy of fire, is there a shift of the point of impact? If not, probably, it can be an optical illusion due to the recoil while firing.
